Like a good book you could not put down or an excellent restaurant you cannot wait to go back to, the Education Law Association brings a wealth of value to you personally and professionally. Please take a moment during this busy time of year to share ELA with a friend or colleague.

BENEFIT STATEMENTS
Students:
ELA is a wonderful opportunity for all graduate students, studying education or law, to stretch and grow as professionals.  During the annual conference, students meet and receive feedback from the scholars and expert practitioners whose work they have cited, thereby strengthening their critical thinking, writing, and presentation skills. These interactions may also lead to future collaborations, career advisement, and mentorships.  Further, ELA provides access to multiple publishing opportunities including peer reviewed articles, books, and book chapters.  For aspiring campus administrators ELA provides easily accessible, digestible, and practical professional development opportunities throughout the year, a membership of experts to call upon, and an opportunity to distinguish yourself. 
 
Academics:
ELA provides an unparalleled opportunity to research and clinical academics for community and engagement while staying on the cutting edge of developing trends in education law.  Membership includes academics from across the country and the world that participate in ELA, facilitating the sharing of engaging teaching strategies and assignments along with networking to discover research partners.  At the annual conference each year, members have an opportunity to present and receive feedback on their own research and hear about the developing research of others.  Further, as a premier publisher in the education law space, ELA also provides multiple publishing opportunities. 
 
Administrators:
ELA is a knowledge hub, with members who are attorneys, practicing administrators, and academics from around the country. ELA members' expertise is unmatched, with experts in all areas of education law both state and federal. Education law can be an isolating area of practice.  ELA provides a network of fellow education law attorneys across the country to confer on important topics facing clients today.  Publications and presentations by ELA members including attorneys, academics, and administrators, offer current and reliable knowledge and practical application of law to current concerns of K20 administrators in all areas of education law both state and federal.
