West Education Law Reporter

West Education Law Reporter is the perfect way to keep current on matters affecting teachers, schools, and student.

WEST'S EDUCATION LAW REPORTER (WELR) compiles the full-text opinions of selected state and federal education court cases from West reporters from 1982 to date. Each volume includes articles on topics related to education law authored by education experts. The article content is published in collaboration with the Education Law Association (ELA). WELR is a specialized legal resource, typically serving a niche audience of lawyers, educators, and legal professionals focused on education law. WELR is published by Thomson Reuters.

The target audience for WELR includes ELA’s three main membership groups: professors of education law, attorneys specializing in education law, and education practitioners. However, through its availability on Westlaw, it reaches an international audience of law firms, law schools, and attorneys. Although most articles are authored by ELA members, membership in ELA is not required for submitting an article.
