Ethics of viewing site as user

Is it ethical for Education Law Association staff to view the site as a user? 

Yes, because user switching is an "Ethical Open Source" practice as defined by The Ethical Source Definition (ESD): 

  • It benefits the user and community. 
  • It puts accessibility first. 
  • It prioritizes user safety and security. 
  • It protects user privacy. 

Overall, we may view the site as the user to better understand the user experience and test the efficacy of the social learning community.

Text, image, audio, or video of graphic sexual acts intended to arouse, or content promoting underage, non-consensual, or other illegal sexual themes, whether simulated or real.
Irrelevant, indiscriminate, or inappropriate communication to recipients.
Contains spam, fake content or potential malware
Content containing violent language, gruesome or disgusting imagery, or graphic images or accounts of physical trauma.
