Gradate student writer for task force report

The California Charter Authorizing Professionals (CCAP), an association of California school districts and county offices of education that authorize and oversee public charter schools, seeks one or two graduate assistants available immediately for a short-term engagement as 1099 independent contractor to help write a task force report. A broad-based, statewide Anti-Fraud Task Force has formed recommendations to deter, detect, and prosecute fraud in charter schools and has identified resources for stakeholders in the education system. The writer(s) will help draft and edit the report, which already has been outlined, to present these recommendations and prepare the bibliography. Target release for the report is end of November.

Strong writing skills required and background in one or more areas of public policy, finance, law, and K-12 education preferred. Pays $30 per hour.
