Through her work at 1791 Delegates, Brenda provides bookkeeping services, drawing upon her expertise as a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor.

Ed is a founding trustee of 1791 Delegates and brings decades of experience directing UPenn’s law library to his work as ELA's Publisher.

Interim Executive Director

A former school attorney and long-time ELA member, Tom serves as interim executive director. He is an independent contractor with Education Adjuncts LLC.

E-Learning Specialist

Drawing upon her expertise in online education, Brittany supports 1791 Delegates and the ELA with building professional development and continuing legal education programs.

Chetan Patel

Software Engineer

Chetan is the Founder and Lead Software Engineer of Obtain Infotech, a web development company in partnership with 1791 Delegates. Together, they build and maintain social learning communities.

Kimberly Waite-Cooper

Project Support Specialist

Kim supports a variety of ELA operations and especially to Tom Hutton, with whom she also works for the California Charter Authorizing Professionals (CCAP).

Nathan C. Walker, Ed.D.

Managing Director & Publisher

Nate is president of 1791 Delegates and brings decades of executive experience leading membership organizations, and developing ed-tech and legal education programs.

Graduate Interns and Seasonal Support

We’re grateful for the insightful support and leadership of our graduate intern, Charlotte Bingham. We’re honored to work with and learn from our seasonal specialists, who provide contractual support from our colleagues at 1791 Delegates. They develop membership campaigns, curate education programs, and manage special events. We also celebrate leaders at Aiwos, a Dutch technology firm that supports 1791 Delegates in improving users’ workflow when proposing periodicals, book manuscripts, and conference papers.

Beatrice is a pre-law student at Jefferson University and has worked on membership campaigns and legal education programs at 1791 Delegates since 2019.

Charlotte serves as ELA's graduate intern while pursuing a Ph.D. in Higher Education at Purdue University. Charlotte is also the Student Ombudsperson at Ivy Tech Community College.
