As the Managing Partner for Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP’s Chicago office, Toby’s practice focuses on all aspects of business disputes, tort defense, class actions, and complex insurance matters, in fields such as real estate, manufacturing, higher education, risk management, employment, and governmental law. Given his track record and savvy in the courtroom, he is often retained by clients when their reputation is on the line. Toby helps them navigate high-profile litigation and facilitate creative solutions to tough business situations.

Prior to becoming the Managing Partner for the Chicago office, Toby served as Vice Managing Partner and co-chaired the firm’s Committee on Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion. He is a fierce civil rights advocate.
