Julie A. Sears, Ph.D., is employed by East Tennessee State University where she serves in several positions. Her primary job is the program coordinator for Vanderbilt Consortium Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) in Johnson City, Tennessee. In the Education Foundations and Special Education Department, she serves as an adjunct instructor. Additionally, she is the self-advocate and family coordinator for Access ETSU, a two-year college experience for students with intellectual disabilities. Her research interests include K-12 special education law and international inclusive education law and policy.
