Biography

Jason has 15 years of K-12 public school Human Resource Administrator experience. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of North Texas, he taught high school for 6 years before spending 2 years as a campus administrator. Additionally, Jason spent 6 years on the AASPA Board from 2013 – 2019. He earned his master’sdegree from North Texas and is currently working towards a Ph.D.in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from UT-Arlington where his research interests include teacher turnover, education law, and education policy.
