Biography

Educational Leadership Doctoral Program faculty member with over 14 years in teacher education at state and local levels in policy development, program compliance, and administration. Formerly served as Certification Coordinator III and Lecturer at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, and a member of the Educator Preparation Advisory Council for the Texas Education Agency. Research agenda in educational leadership focuses on developing a deeper understanding of educator preparation curriculum and delivery, incorporating the perspectives of in-field teachers and administrators, to drive meaningful and intentional improvements in teacher preparation.
