Biography |
As a third- year graduate student pursuing a combined JD and PhD in Educational Psychology at UNLV, I am hoping to work towards a career in Education Policy. I currently teach a second-year seminar at UNLV and have thoroughly benefitted from this teaching experience. As a member of Boyd Law School’s Curriculum Committee I was recruited by the former Dean to conduct curriculum reform projects and have assisted in the curriculum review process for the law school.
My research focus is centered around the necessity for soft skill development in high school students in order to promote workforce readiness. I have written policy briefs arguing for the expansion of soft skill development among high school students. Additionally, I have recently published an article in BYU’s Education and Law Journal and am working on several other pieces in this realm such as: the impact of Common Core on soft skill development and the gaps in soft skills contributing to a lack of college preparedness.
