Nathan Brazell is an accomplished educator and aspiring legal professional with over a decade of experience in the field of education. Currently, he serves as the Assistant Director of Bands for Arp Independent School District (ISD) in Arp, Texas, where he is also the Director of Percussion. His extensive career in education began as a band director, a role he held for ten years before transitioning into campus administration.

Nathan’s campus administrative experience includes two years as the Dean of Students at Orr Elementary in Tyler ISD and one year as Assistant Principal at Cumberland Academy High School in Tyler, Texas. In these roles, he demonstrated a strong commitment to student success, school safety, and staff support, which laid the groundwork for his interest in educational law and policy.

Nathan holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Stephen F. Austin State University (2011) and a Master of Education in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas (2015). He is currently pursuing a Juris Doctor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where he is enrolled in the nationally ranked top 5 Dispute Resolution certificate program. He anticipates graduating in May 2025.

His legal education is complemented by his practical experience and keen interest in educational law. Nathan aims to influence educational law policy and conduct research on various topics within the field. He aspires to become an Education Law attorney, specializing in assisting school districts, parents, students, and staff regarding their legal rights.

Nathan is an active member of the Education Law Association, reflecting his dedication to staying informed and contributing to the evolving landscape of educational law.
